ST Math is a grade-level math program that Gillispie recently added to complement our textbook and classroom instruction. The children complete math activities on the computer and I receive records, so I can track their progress. The children have been instructed by me and it is a school policy that the ST Math program only be used at school. Please let me know if you have any questions. Kim Haas News Team-The Week of January 23 and more 01/13/2012
I wanted to let each of you know that I will be in Florida all next week and also on Monday of the following week. I will return to the classroom on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. I have a sister who had surgery last Thursday and I need to be with her during her recovery. I will miss being with the children, but I was happy I got to spend time with them last week on our trip to San Juan Capistrano. I was very pleased with their behavior and overall level of interest during the two days. They are a wonderful group of children and I am glad I am teaching them this year. I told them yesterday that I would be out and I was touched by their questions and concerns about my sister. If your child is going to be absent during the time I am gone you may email me to let me know, but you may also check with Leslie Tsusaki (the sub) regarding the daily work or homework assignments. The children know Leslie and she is excited to be spending time with the them. Jo Shieh may also be contacted.
